Day 1
Arrival in Greater Kruger National Park

Signature South Africa: Greater Kruger & Cape Town
This itinerary includes 4 nights at a luxury safari lodge in the world renowned Greater Kruger National Park with 3 nights in the Mother City of Cape Town and 3 nights in one of South Africas celebrated vineyards.
The focus is on maximising wildlife viewing, experiencing the incredible culture and scenery of the Cape and enjoying the beautiful vineyards.
Morning:
Arrival at Hoedspruit Airport: We'll book a flight that arrives in the morning.
Transfer to lodge: We'll arrange a private transfer to the lodge
Afternoon:
Check-in and lunch: Settle into the lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch on-site.
Relaxation: Take some time to relax and acclimatise to your surroundings.
Evening:
Afternoon Game Drive: Join your lodge’s afternoon game drive (typically around 4 PM). Experience the thrill of spotting wildlife as the sun sets.
Dinner: Enjoy a traditional South African dinner at the lodge.
Days 2 to 5
Immerse yourself in the African Bush
These days are dedicated to maximising your wildlife encounters through thrilling guided game drives. Each day offers a fresh perspective on the African bush, from the vibrant mornings to the mysterious nights.
Your Daily Safari Adventure (Days 2-4):
Morning: Rise early and embark on an invigorating morning game drive.
Witness the awakening of the African wilderness as the sun rises, and enjoy a revitalizing bush coffee stop amidst the stunning scenery.
*Optional Bush Walk
Afternoon: Return to the lodge for a delicious lunch and a chance to relax before your afternoon/evening game drive. As the day cools, witness the bush come alive once more as animals emerge to graze and hunt.
Evening: Savor delectable dinners back at the lodge, often enjoyed around a crackling fire under the vast African sky. Share stories of your day's adventures and soak in the magical atmosphere.
These days are designed to provide you with unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing in diverse settings—morning, afternoon, and under the cover of night.
Between exhilarating game drives, you'll have ample time to relax at the lodge, take a dip in the pool, enjoy delicious meals, and recharge for your next adventure.
Note that on this itinerary you will have the option to participate in a conservation-based activity, such as a visit to a K9 unit. This is a fantastic chance to learn firsthand about the vital work of African anti-poaching units and their dedication to protecting our precious wildlife. On request.


Day 5
The Mother City
Morning:
Check-out and Transfer: Check out of the lodge and take the transfer to the the airport. Catch the connecting flight to Cape Town.
Arrival and orientation: Arrival and transfer to your accommodation in Cape Town.
Afternoon:
Afternoon (Arrival & Check-in): Arrive at your Beach Lodge, settle into your room and take a moment to absorb the breathtaking, uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean.
Late Afternoon (Guided Fynbos Walk): Join your guide for an interpretive walk through the unique coastal fynbos biome. Learn about the fascinating endemic plants, discover animal tracks, and hopefully spot some of the reserve's resident wildlife.
Evening (Sundowners & Dinner): Gather for drinks and snacks at a scenic spot overlooking the ocean as the sun begins to set. Keep an eye out for dolphins in the waves and the magnificent Southern Right whales just offshore.


Days 6 & 7
Marine Wonders and Whale Watching
Morning (Interpretive Marine Walk): Timed with the low tide, your guide will lead you on a fascinating exploration of the intertidal zone. Discover the rich ecosystem of the rock pools, searching for colourful starfish, octopus, anemones, and other marine creatures that call this protected coastline home.
Midday (Leisure & Lunch): Enjoy a delicious lunch back at the lodge. The afternoon is yours to relax—read a book on your private veranda, take a dip in the pool, or simply spend hours mesmerised by the whale activity in the bay. De Hoop is arguably the best land-based whale-watching site in the world, and you have a front-row seat.
Afternoon (Beach Walk or Relaxation): Enjoy a stroll along the pristine, secluded beach, stretching for kilometres in either direction. Feel the soft sand under your feet and the immense sense of space and tranquility. Alternatively, simply relax at the lodge before evening activities commence.
Evening (Dinner & Stargazing): After another spectacular sunset, enjoy a hearty dinner. Far from city lights, the night sky at De Hoop is phenomenal. Spend some time on the deck identifying constellations in the brilliant Milky Way.
Morning (Optional Nature Walk or Whale Gazing): Enjoy a final morning in this coastal paradise. You might opt for a shorter guided walk to a viewpoint, or simply enjoy a coffee on your deck, making the most of any last-minute whale or dolphin sightings.
Late Morning (Breakfast & Departure): Savour a final breakfast at the lodge, sharing contact details with new friends and taking one last look at the incredible view before checking out and taking a transfer to the last stop on your journey - the Cape Winelands.

Afternoon (Arrival & Settling In): Arrive at the vineyard and check into your luxurious cottage. Take some time to settle in before enjoying a leisurely walk to familiarise yourself with the magnificent garden, the heart of the farm. Late Afternoon (Cellar Tour & Wine Tasting): Begin your epicurean journey with a guided tour of the farm's state-of-the-art winery
Evening (Dinner at Babel): Indulge in an unforgettable farm-to-fork dinner at Babel, the farm's signature restaurant. The menu is creative and seasonal, guided by what is fresh from the garden.


Day 9 & 10
Garden Immersion, Culinary Crafts and Local Village Charm
Morning (Guided Garden Tour): Join one of the farm’s experienced gardeners for an in-depth tour of the formal garden. You’ll learn about the farm’s history, its incredible biodiversity, and the philosophy that drives everything they do, all while picking and tasting seasonal fruits, herbs, and vegetables along the way.
Lunch (The Greenhouse): Enjoy a casual and delicious lunch at the enchanting Greenhouse, tucked away at the back of the garden. Here, you can enjoy freshly baked breads, artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and freshly squeezed juices in a beautiful, relaxed setting.

With these packages, we book you at two different lodges/camps we have personally stayed at - handpicked to give you the best experience possible. These lodges are located in the heart of the bush, on the riverbank or hillside, with breathtaking views of some of Africa's wildest areas.
The sightings are unique and beautiful, with all the privacy you need as only two to three vehicles are allowed at a sighting at the same time. For the walking safaris, a maximum of 8 people are allowed per camp, ensuring an exclusive experience.
